The free QC photos are a start. For anything expensive, ask for more before you approve it.
What to ask for
Close-ups of the logo and the stitching, the inside tag, the size label, and measurements with a tape: chest and length for tops, waist and inseam for pants, insole length for shoes. For bags, ask for the hardware and the inside.
What it costs
Most agents charge a small fee per extra photo or offer a detailed QC package. It is cheap compared to the cost of shipping a bad item home.
How to word it
Be specific and short: "Please send close-up photos of the front logo and the neck tag, and measure the chest width and the back length." Agents work through a lot of requests; clear ones get done right.
